Occupational Adventure Therapy
Occupational therapy and adventure therapy are effective interventions for building self-esteem, confidence, and emotional regulation skills in neurodiverse children. The unexpected nature of the outdoors, in conjunction with meaningful occupations steeped in therapeutic relationships, provides the grounds for sustained change across physical, emotional, and social development.
Our Goal
- To nurture resilience and adaptability during challenging activities
- To encourage self-awareness and belief in celebrating our success, big or small!
- To foster a love of adventure and curiosity to promote enjoyment of the unknown
